CR 1500 is a high efficiency bright chrome plating process with exceptional throwing power.
CR 1500 enables bright chrome deposits direct on copper or copper alloys without any dissolution of the base metal. It is an entirely new chrome plating process, which involves the use of hexavalent chrome only. The bath analysis is simple, since there are no other acids or precipitated solids involved.
CR 1500 Part I and Part II is added as liquid, thus bath control and maintenance is simplified. The addition of Oxalic acid for formation of trivalent chrome, or Barium carbonate to precipitate other acids, is entirely eliminated.
